It creates a government monopoly on growing
and selling marijuana for the dispensaries so
they can get rich selling the rest of us
$300+ an ounce marijuana.

Hello friends. There are two initiatives to legalize/regulate cannabis in AZ in 2016, one is unfunded and the other (MPP's) is a tax and regulate initiative. I have stressed in the past and it will be even more important now to get involved with local, county and state government. If MPP's initiative is pasted, local and county government can zone out smoking and growing. This initiative gives the consumer very few protections, while giving dispensaries a quasi monopoly, protecting their investment at the point of a gun and under the threat of felonies. We will need cannabis friendly city and county councils. This is not legalization or decriminalization, it is a tax and regulate model written by and for the dispensaries.
